What wise man once said "Keep rollin', rollin', rollin'."? It was either Aristotle or Fred Durst. Kenny has taken that advice to heart and is rollin' along as Discrimination of the Dead has been accepted to the Silver Wave Film Festival. It will play as part of their Midnight Screening Horror Feast at 11:45 pm on November 10th. It will be shown at Tilley Hall, at UNB campus in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Great news! Discrimination of the Dead is hitting the road in September, as the short has been accepted to Cinefest. Cinefest is an excellent film festival in Sudbury, Ontario that is entering it's 17th year and in 2005 had attendance of almost 30,000. Congratulations again to everyone in the cast and crew of our crazy little short!

A short that both Boyd and I were part of the crew on has been accepted to the Montreal International Film Festival. The 16mm film (since transferred to High Def) "Thin, Dry Roar" was created as part of an Atlantic Filmmakers Cooperative workshop over 3 months. Congratulations to the other crew, mentors and cast!

Spent the wee hours of the morning at Ryan Roberts' studio.
With the exception of some minor mixing and EQ, the soundtrack is a lock. I can't say enough about the work Ryan did. At best, we were hoping for some music that would match a few of our key scenes and transitions.
Well... he went far above and beyond the call. What he created was an awesome musical soundscape that sets the mood, carries the story, enhances the comedy and gives the piece a cohesion we didn't even realize was missing. Every note was timed perfectly and each piece of music wraps around the scene, building and pulling back as the dialog dictated.
Thank you Ryan....You've raised the bar!
